Ipoint

Malta - Oct. 2015/July 2017

In 2015 I got the opportunity to move to Malta and work for Ipoint. Ipoint is an incredibly ambitious agency, brimming with talent. Especially in those early days, a decade ago, we had something to prove. This sparked an immense creative surge within the company. Although we were very small, I am very proud of the level production.

For this brand video for Ipoint itself I wanted to do something personal and textural. Having already created several true stop-motion animations entirely out of paper, I felt it was the perfect medium to showcase the company's creativity and exceptional craftsmanship.

You see the rocket being cut and assembled from paper then launched into space. This reflect's. I drew inspiration from Tintin’s rocket design, blending it with the launch platform of Apollo 11.

In the video of introducing a new product, the client’s main focus was on how it should be portrayed in the best possible way. I proposed delivering the message in a calm and sophisticated tone.

With a slower-paced video, I focused on introducing fresh visual elements to keep the viewer engaged. The goal of the motion design was to visually reinforce the meaning of the text on-screen.
